Disability Access Information

For Sanford Stadium

Visitors with disability issues are strongly encouraged to arrive early at Sanford Stadium.  Seating for wheelchairs is very limited in the stadium.  Disabled parking will be available in lots N-10 and E-12 near Sanford Stadium. Gate 6 and the Will Call Window Lobby on East Campus Road are designated for drop off.  Gates 2 through 6, and the Will Call Window Lobby are wheelchair accessible.

Elevators with access to the 100, 200 and 300 levels are located at the Southeast corner of the stadium near Gate 4 and at the Will Call Lobby on East Campus Road.

Seating:  As stated above, seating for wheelchairs is very limited in the Stadium.  In the East End Zone, seating areas can be found in Sections 124 and 114.  There is only space for 5 – 6 persons in these areas.  There will also be a sky suite open on Level 200 at Section 213.  The suite is enclosed and has TVs with a live feed of the ceremony.  Again, these areas are limited so we ask that only one family member accompany the disabled person.

For Stegeman Coliseum

Disabled parking is available in lots S-12 (Hoke Smith Annex) and S-16 (Coverdell Building). Both lots are adjacent to Stegeman Coliseum.

Visitors with disability issues are strongly encouraged to arrive early at the coliseum. Seating for wheelchairs is very limited in the arena. Main entrances to Stegeman Coliseum along Sanford Drive and Carlton Street are wheelchair accessible.

An elevator with access to the floor level is located in the Southeast corner of the arena near the Smith Street Lobby entrance to the facility.

Note: Please be aware that UGA does not provide wheelchairs. There will be no UGA personnel available to assist visitors to their seats.
