Parking

The University of Georgia's Conference Center and Hotel is located on the beautiful, historic campus of UGA in Athens, Georgia. The Center includes a 200-room hotel, four onsite dining options, banquet areas, conference rooms, auditoriums, a fitness center, and a computer lab — all under one roof.

Lodging

Looking for a place to stay during your visit to Athens? There are more than 25 hotels and bed and breakfasts in the area. From the basic to the boutique and from downtown to the west side, Athens caters to the university and its visitors. For lodging options or to make a reservation, please visit the Athens Convention and Visitors Bureau online.

Quick, and casual, The Courtyard Café at the Georgia Center offers cafeteria-style hot lunch entrées, soup and salads.

Dining

On Commencement Day, new this year, Bolton Dining Commons and Snelling Dining Commons will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. One of Athens' finest restaurants, The Savannah Room at the Georgia Center, offers a range of gourmet entreés, vegetarian and special selections, superb desserts and a full bar. Inclement Weather

The UGA Undergraduate Commencement ceremony, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2016, will be held at Sanford Stadium rain or shine. Only in case of severe weather will the Undergraduate ceremony be rescheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10 a.m. Severe weather is defined as rain accompanied by high wind, thunder, and lightning.
