Disability Access Information

For Sanford Stadium:

Visitors with disability concerns are strongly encouraged to arrive early at the stadium, where seating for wheelchairs is very limited.

Disabled parking is available in lots N-10 and E-12 near the stadium. Gate 6 and the Will Call window lobby on East Campus Road are designated for drop off. Gates 2-6, and Will Call are wheelchair accessible.

Elevators will access to the 100, 200 and 300 levels are located at the Southeast corner of the stadium near Gate 4 and at the Will Call lobby on East Campus Road.

Seating: As stated above, seating for wheelchairs is very limited in Sanford Stadium. In the East end zone, seating areas can be found in Sections 114 and 124 with space for only 5-6 persons. There also will be a sky suite open on the 200 level in Section 213.  The suite is enclosed and has TVs with a live feed of the ceremony. Again, seating is very limited in these areas so we ask for only one accompanying family member.

For Stegeman Coliseum:

Disabled parking is available in lots S-12 (Hoke Smith Annex) and S-16 (Coverdell Building). Both lots are adjacent to Stegeman Coliseum.

Visitors with disability concerns are strongly encouraged to arrive early at the coliseum. Seating for wheelchairs is very limited in the arena. Main entrances to Stegeman Coliseum along Sanford Drive and Carlton Street are wheelchair accessible.

An elevator with access to the floor level is located in the Southeast corner of the arena near the Smith Street Lobby entrance to the facility.

Seating: Seating for wheelchairs is very limited in the Coliseum. Along the top row of the lower level are several sections for wheelchair and companion seating. And since the number of seats in each of these sections varies, we ask that accompanying family members be kept to a minimum.

Note: Please be aware that UGA does not provide wheelchairs. There will be no UGA personnel available to assist visitors to their seats.
